Our Texas Rose bloomed every few weeks, with amazing color, and without much warning. It was joyful to be greeted first thing in the morning by such vibrant color! How can a day NOT be wonderful with this kind of a start?

My Texas Rose....
While we were away visiting family over the holidays, my Texas Rose passed away. Even though I live in a desert, and I dislike browns. I had begun to develop a fondness for the beauty that can be found among the browns, including the gorgeous flowers that can be found among the thorns.
Our Texas Rose bloomed every few weeks, with amazing color, and without much warning. It was joyful to be greeted first thing in the morning by such vibrant color! How can a day NOT be wonderful with this kind of a start?
