The Money Man

Last weekend, DH and I attended an Eddie Money concert at WildHorse Pass Casino. I am probably too old to love going to his concerts but, hey, it is what it is. I will have to admit that this one was probably the last of his that I will go to as he is losing his.... something... voice, maybe? Anyway, I managed to get my hands on a set list that the drummer used and Eddie was kind enough to sign it for me.



However, the BESTEST part of the evening was when Eddie was signing the list, I was blah, blah, blahing away... Eddie looked at me, then at DH, smiled, and said to DH, "You married up." I was first shocked, then surprised, then elated. I floated out of the room, teasing DH, "you married up... you married up...". Those of you that know me well, know that I will forever keep that one in my stash of useful tools.

But, if you know me, you always know that I know what I have... DH is one of a kind.

Tis the season to count your blessings... and I count DH as one of mine.
